About Carlos
I am a recent graduate (November 2019) of Parimukti school of Yoga based in India obtaining my 500 / hr teacher certification from Yoga Alliance. I have been trained in traditional Hatha Yoga. I am in gratitude to my teachers Anil Seti, Prashant Kumar, Manjeet Mathur and Lydia Kumar for showing me the authentic path of Yoga to be a holistic approach to life beyond just physical practice. After my training I went on to teach at Parimukti for a short while and continued private lessons in the Netherlands upon returning. Now I am looking to further my teaching experience with others. Movement has been a fascination for years and I am continuously exploring its dimensions through dance, improvisation, animal movement, calisthenics and theoretical study.

My style of teaching is focused on body awareness and the breath. Yoga is a magnificent tool for exploring our internal workings both physically, emotionally and mentally and my aim is to guide you through that. We look deeper into particular asanas / poses and emphasize whole body awareness. In traditional Yoga whole body alignment is key to the practice and I emphasize this 'head to toe' awareness in the class. My classes can be both challenging and relaxing depending on the mood of the class and wishes of the student.

Ik heb al 5 lessen met Carlos gedaan.Hele prettige , kalme sfeer en opbouw. De focus op adem maakt het ontspannen, gefocussed en dynamisch . Hij is creatief en heeft soms verrassende oefeningen die beweging in de asana's brengen . Aanrader!
