I always try to understand the main reason why a student is struggling. It ranges from lack of discipline or organisation. Lack of confidence, I.e thinking that maths is difficult or too hard to understand. Sometimes it's specific topics or not understanding the lessons in class. I then help the student work through the work and give him/ her extra work and past papers.
My teaching methodology is pretty simple, i try to learn every student's behaviour and cognitive ability to retain information, this relies on paying close attention to each individual as well as laying out information in a way that makes sense. I make use of simple learning exercise that help students keep up with what's being taught or what they wish to understand.
I base my classes on the needs of the person that needs tutoring. The first step is to identify with which part of the study material the student has a problem with. The next step is to find a way to make the learning material more understandable to the learner. I can tutor in both English and Afrikaans.
My teaching method is to make sure the student understands the content and explain further if he/she does not. If help is necessary during a test week or examination, I can go through the work and set up a small test.
I am really an excellent teacher because I can break down the information into it's simplest parts and explain it along those lines. I like the old talk and chalk method, but I make it more intimate and personal. I like to use paper and pen and I use a lot of hand gestures while I'm teaching. Anything to convey the information.
I have a very calm demeanor and use that as my advantage to offer a calm and focused but stimulating lesson. I also love and adore Mindfulness and I do believe that it can be applied to almost anything, especially to learning. I also prefer to use a holistic approach. I.e. not just teach literally but also involve other senses, music, the outdoors etc.
I base my lessons on real world applications of the theoretical work covered in the module and I use practical examples to ensure that the students understand the theory when it is applied in a practical level and even in their own lives. I always link the modules that share similarities in the content in order to extend the understanding of my students.
I strongly believe in tackling a vast number of questions so that the accounting principle can be well understood. When learners grasp the principal of the subject it becomes easier to understand and deal with test questions and exam questions.
I use simulation based learning and provocative learning.
I make use of manual guides, visual aids and helping aids in order to create each session to be more practical. Furthermore, I make use of my Social Work skills to meet each person I work with at their intellectual capacity.
My method of teaching is I give all needed basics for each topic then I solve past question papers with my learners .. I usually like to prove all formulas to my students before I proceed with a particular topic .
I believe that to really teach someone you have to understand what you are doing and not just do it because that was the way you were taught.
My teaching method differs from student to student, as every student is different and learns better on different methods. I first see how the person is, for example if the person is more organized or precise about things , I will teach in such way, so the brain function is better than doing something the student doesn't like.
My teaching method is to learn more about how the student is so that I can understand in what method I should teach, for example if the child is more of an outdoor and more busy with his hands, I would do more practical learning methods with the student than sitting down and writing over and over.
I’m a very practical person and therefore learn concepts faster and easier when they are demonstrated to me. I integrate that in my teaching and therefore visualization and demonstration are key. Discussion and participation also are important as interaction reveals whether or not a concept has been grasped.
My teaching method is quite simple. I make sure I start with easy topics to get the learners comfortable with the subject and with me as a tutor. Then later I focus on the harder topics in order to familiarise them with difficulties in the subject. I make sure the learners fall in love with the subject so it can fall in love with them.
I base my classes on helping learners to better/improve their written comprehension skills. I work well with small groups of learners or individuals. I'm an attentive person and I understand that where academics are involved, patience is often required. I teach using notes, videos and written comprehension texts to help learners.
I believe that learners learn best when it is fun and interesting to them. if they like to learn and find the work that they are learning interesting they will want to learn and this will make the process much easier. That said i always look for ways to make the work fun and interesting. I also try to find the best suitable way for the learner to learn.
I approach each and every topic by firstly analysing what is being asked first and identify given options and make sure i come up with different ways to attack until i reach to a final step which all students will know it
My training and mentorship is on the job based. I make use of practical examples and setting clear objectives and targets. I utilise S.M.A.R.T principles to achieve the required outcome, having a high level result from the start already.
My methodology is teaching by personal interaction and I prefer to rather communicate with people so that they learn as they progress. I can teach wherever the students feel most appropriate and efficient. I find that helping and guiding students to learn by doing the work themselves and I serve as a guide is more efficient than then just giving a digital lesson.
My teaching method is advanced lessons and in-depth learning with focusing on the strengths of the pupil as well as the weaknesses to improve that.
I use the practical strategy and allow the student to explain to me before I explain to them.
I will find out your personality type I will find out your strengths and weakness so that we can find your threats and opportunities Then I'll guide you and motivate you into doing what we are working on I will be available when needed,I know how it feels to be lost and alone.
I like to use a structure according to topic. Study the topic and everything that is relevant to it that's discussed through the modules. I also like to make rhymes or acronyms which help to make the work more memorable.
I specialize in batting and wicket-keeping. I also offer off-spin lessons. We do cardiovascular activities, which is the foundation of a good cricketer. We start the lesson of with fitness, thereafter, we do catching and reaction drills. Followed by batting drills, thereafter bowling drills. At the end of the session, we do cooling down and stretching drills.
My teaching methods are different, but one thing for sure, I can simplify things until I reach a person's understanding
I have different teaching styles but for life sciences I usually prefer to go for a more visual and a bit practical style. I run tests to see if there are improvement at the end of each week and I go back to problem areas when necessary.
My method of teaching is based on mental stimulation, how to keep your mind on positive situations and things, rather than turning to anxiety ridden situations.
My teaching metholody is based on extensive elaboration after enganging in a tutorial class, I also equip students with pratice question papers and other additional studying material, I also have the Criminal Law Synman 9th edition handbook available in PDF format for my group of students
