My teaching approach recognizes that learning occurs in the social context of classroom. As such knowledge is co-constructed through students’ interaction with each other and I assume the role of a facilitator. I use a discussion tool on a learning management system (e.g., Blackboard) to continue with the facilitation of discussion of the lesson and this also accommodates shy students.
