About Teresa

I am a Yoga Alliance Certified Vinyasa Yoga Instructor with experience teaching kids and trauma-informed classes, as well as all-level adult classes. I have training in prenatal and other special circumstances. I teach proper alignment and breathing and mindfulness techniques within each class, to enhance the take-home de-stressing benefit.

About the lesson

I use simple directions and modeling with lots of options for each pose, focusing on proper alignment and customizing each session to the specific needs of my students. I believe that mind-body tools like yoga should be accessible to all bodies.

My daughter was a student in 3 of Teresa's classes; Spanish, People's History, and Yoga & Meditation. Teresa established rapport and trust with an authenticity only a genuine teacher is able to achieve. The hands on delivery and creative connections between lessons kept a lively group engaged and enthusiastic. My daughter looks forward to her classes with Teresa and packs her bag the night before!
