About Mattie

Teaching singing began as a side project before it quietly occupied my entire week. I support students who were let down by rigid syllabi rather than their own actual talent. Having guided hundreds of singers over 10 years, I prioritize making the invisible steps visible so you can trust your own reasoning.

My approach centers on the SLS lineage, specifically focusing on head and chest voice, performance confidence, stage fear management, and vocal range extension. Reach out if you want to explore these techniques in a low-pressure environment.

About the lesson

Singing becomes rewarding when you stop fighting your own natural mechanics. Clarity drives my approach as I strip away the mystery of the mixed voice, utilizing my BM degree from CCM and my status as a Certified Vocology Practitioner.

Performance recordings are reviewed together each month to ensure real progress. I show the thinking out loud, including the dead ends that most instructors hide.

You will see how I map out specific technical goals for your voice. It is simply about being honest with your sound. I find this process deeply fulfilling and personally meaningful.
