I tutored math in the Math Lab at Lamar University during my master's in Mathematics study. I am currently an instructor for a remote (blended) geology course at the University of Mississippi.

About Kingsley
I have MS Mathematics and PhD Geological Engineering.
I have teaching experience as instructor, tutor and teaching assistant. I have passion to help other students in Mathematics with the hope of having a hand in enabling others to pursue their lifework.
I tutored math in the Math Lab at Lamar University. I am currently an instructor for a remote (blended) geology course; and have been teaching assistant for online Engineering Analysis course and lab sections of some geology courses at the University of Mississippi. I have outstanding writing skills with the ability to document my report and lecture notes in a clear and concise manner and the verbal skill to communicate this information and lecture to my students. I believe my combination of academic and private sector experience and a passion to pass along my experience through teaching makes me a strong candidate for the position you describe.

I communicate to my students, as it is one of the principal determinants of teaching effectiveness. That is, breaking down complex problems into simpler parts that the student has already been exposed to encourage communication. For example, lecturing a course on differential equations, I explain to the students that first or second order differential equations involve derivatives of an unknown function, and requires knowledge of integrals
I show my students the real fun of doing mathematics, by helping them know that mathematics is a language and one has to learn the rules of mathematical grammar first. I expose my students to the exciting world of mathematics by engaging the students with excitement, energy, and enthusiasm in teaching the ideas. For example, I show the students a well constructed proof and a simple trick to solve a problem.
