About the lesson

Carnatic music is a major system of classical music from South India that focuses heavily on vocal performance, intricate rhythms, and melodic improvisation .Here we will start from basics and learn together, no pressure it will be a space where we take an adventurous endeavour in the world of Indian music. Classical music, particularly foundational systems like Carnatic or Western classical, acts as the ultimate gym for your vocal cords by demanding precise pitch control, structured breath management, and an extended vocal range. Practicing these rigorous disciplines strengthens the diaphragm, refines tone quality, and builds muscular stamina, which protects the voice from strain and injury. Beyond technical vocal mastery, engaging with classical music enhances cognitive functions like memory and focus, significantly reduces stress by lowering cortisol levels, and sharpens auditory processing skills.
