About Shuaib
I'm an undergraduate student in Anthropology and Philosophy. I am a self-motivated, well-organised and confident person who is dependable in meeting deadlines and ensuring everything is completed to the highest possible standard. This is vouched via my personal interests in sports such as football, basketball, tennis, MMA (Brazilian Jiu Jitsu) and swimming. The skills I gained from these sports are teamwork, time management, coaching, and perseverance. I also love to further my interests by being creative such as doing art, and making music and adopting new practices such as yoga and meditation which give me skills of observation and mental focus I am self-assertive in understanding a variety of tasks and can handle many situations in a professional manner. My communication skills have been further developed through work experience, which improved my ability in conversing with individuals and acknowledge their needs.

My approach to teaching is catering to the student's needs. What I mean by this is not having a narrow approach to learning. As my field of learning has grown I have come to understand that there are many different types of learners such as visual, auditory, kinaesthetic etc. Hence I will communicate and understand with my students to cater for the type of learners they are and make the lesson as fun and engaging as possible. So it can have a profound impact on them. Although a beginner tutor I have experience in leadership/teaching roles as a student representative for my college and have a level 1 of coaching in basketball. My educational qualifications include 8 GCSEs and 3 A Levels. I can apply my teaching abilities from coaching to tutoring. I will be willing to tutor to age ranges from 5-18 at primary level maths, GCSEs in Geography, History and A levels in History, Psychology and Sociology. Each lesson will last an hour.
