About Maverick
My name is Ahmad Abdullah Bin Sharif but i undergo by my English name Maverick. I am proficient in mathematics, physics, chemistry and arts. Currently I am a nuclear engineering student in UOIT(University of Ontario Institute of Technology)however I am going to switch to second year software engineering because I have made friends in that field as well as co-operation, optimism and logical thinking are my mental traits which software engineering fulfills for me. This is my first time attempting to be a tutor for students in middle school as well as high school. I intend to apply logic and practicality to allow the students to learn the importance of the courses they are taking while trying to make it as enjoyable as possible. I hope to meet new students not only improve their understanding of topics but also providing them motivation and determination required to succeed.

My methods are mostly realistic and logical while they are based upon concepts taught in their classes. I can also recap the concepts taught while trying to explain the fundamentals of a topic. I first ask a student to bring up their inquiry or issue, then I analyze it then once I find a solution, I explain the solution with reasoning and then allow them to try solving it by themselves. In cases they are unable to solve it, I solve it out for them then provide them similar problems to solve on their own until they eventually learn how to solve the given problem. My analysis includes logical thinking which includes understanding the situation or question, the criteria of the question(what does the question want you to do), sort out the information provided and the information we need to find out by ourselves then solve the problem. I try prioritizing people equally since I believe everyone deserves equal and fair treatment and nobody wants to be left out.

Details
Affirmative. If I am teaching middle school students, they should be charged at a much lower rate. I prefer setting it to $14.00 while for high school freshman or sophomore students, it is $16.00. Distance is not taken into consideration since I intend to tutor students virtually.
