About Henrielle

My name is Henrielle, and I started teaching piano basics to my younger siblings. At first, it was just casual lessons now and then, but it eventually blossomed into structured guidance. Kids around me started asking for lessons after seeing results, and my number of students gradually increased. I want to reassure students that no matter how difficult or impossible it seems, no one is incapable of learning.

About the lesson

I use the "I do, we do, you do" teaching method: I first demonstrate an example of what you're supposed to do, then we do it together, and finally you do it on your own. I can also use the teach-back method, where a student teaches back what I taught them so I can spot weak points in their understanding.

I have been teaching piano and violin for around 3-4 years, and have taught multiple students the basics (i. e., note-reading, finger placements, posture, and more). Each lesson is about 30 min- 1 hr; it includes a warm-up, teaching, guided practice, independent practice, and wrap-up (setting goals and homework).

I can teach all ages in fluent English, but my current student demographic consists of young people aged 12-22.
