my methodology is very simple,
1) if it is a practical topic know its basics and directly start solving,
2) if it is theoretical topic make links.
its difficult to find links and that's why people use lame examples but i prefer to make links from my previous knowledge.
and so it becomes interesting to study both of the topics.
** in short one can say i teach based on keywords and by preparing notes compact.
