About Vaidehi
I have first-hand experience with courses such as Geometry A/B and Algebra 1/2, and excelled in these classes. I focus on the student's needs and what they need to achieve great things in their classes, and am also open to teach concepts that they want to learn ahead of time! I will provide skill-based practice based on their curriculums and make sure they are on the right track to achieve their goals.
I have been playing the flute since the sixth grade and am about to become a 12th grader. I have devoted my time to concert bands in middle school, and currently am in the top band of my high school. I did marching band for flute in 10th grade and this year (11th grade), and plan on finishing off high school with another marching season. I have also placed in the District Honor Bands in my state (Georgia) and have expertise in scales and other technical concepts. I would be a great help towards a young musician's journey in flute and my expertise would greatly benefit the students I teach!

I will tailor everything based on your school's curriculum and standards so that everything works for you and your goals! After knowing your weaknesses and strengths, I will make a plan for what we need to do. A normal class would have lesson/teaching time and interactive learning, and then challenging/commonly missed concepts. Then, I would end with a fun game like Kahoot and we would discuss the questions together! I would provide resources and tutorials that would help supplement your learning.
I would first begin with rudimentary knowledge including fingering for notes, reading music, having articulation, dynamics, a good tone, and more. I would provide small excerpts of music for practice during class, and then have a big piece we would work on over an extended period of time. Although classes would be virtual, I would tailor the classes to make sure you are always improving and enjoying playing the flute :)
