About Don Cenen Dominic
(from Sonor Drums) Don is an in-demand session musician with the reputation as one of Australia’s leading drummers. He is endorsed by Sonor Drums, UFiP Cymbals & Inferno Sticks. Hailing from a musical family in Sydney, Don grew up playing guitar and bass before eventually majoring in drums with a Bachelor’s Degree in Contemporary Music Performance (Australian Institute of Music). He is a UNSW educator and is available for private lessons at his studio. Amongst working with up and coming independent artists, he tours with Sony Music Australia, Warner Music Australia, Universal Music Australia and regularly appears in TV shows and featured events across the major networks.

I design my drum lessons so that you become your own student. You will have a strong foundation in music/rhythm, have a clear sight of what to work on and how to work on them on your own.
I try to avoid any specific syllabus or repetitive information that can be found online. I will assess your level of playing, and based on your own personal tastes and goals, I will cater the most effective and efficient way to get you there, all while having fun and loving music.
A typical lesson would be 1 hour at my private space in Petersham, online, or home visit.
