About Avery
Hi! I'm a college student studying nursing at Palm Beach Atlantic University! I've always enjoyed learning and helping others, especially when it comes to building confidence in the classroom.
Along with my college education, I have experience working with children of all ages through teaching dance, which has helped me develop strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to connect with different personalities and learning styles.
I understand that every student has their own strengths and challenges, and I love being able to encourage others and help them reach their goals. I'm responsible, approachable, and dedicated to creating a positive experience for every student I work with.
My goal as a tutor is not only to help students improve academically but also to help them feel proud of what they're capable of accomplishing!

As a nursing student at Palm Beach Atlantic University, I understand how important it is to have someone who is patient, encouraging, and willing to explain things in a way that makes sense! I offer tutoring in math, science, and English, and I believe every student learns differently.
My goal is to create a comfortable and positive learning environment where students feel confident asking questions. During lessons, I like to start by identifying what a student is struggling with, breaking down difficult concepts into smaller steps, and practicing together until they feel more comfortable working independently.
I understand that school can sometimes feel overwhelming, so I want my students to feel supported rather than stressed. Whether it's homework help, preparing for an upcoming test, or strengthening skills in a particular subject, I tailor each lesson to the student's individual needs.
Most importantly, I want students to leave each session feeling more confident in themselves and their abilities!
