About Perla

I’m a college student pursuing a career in Finances. I am a private tutor with 5+ years of experience in education. I specialize in Spanish Tutoring since I’m a native Spanish-speaker born and raised in Central America and Mathematics (Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1-2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus and Calculus.)
I will love to work with your beautiful family!
I love to break down math problems. I eliminate the unnecessary difficulty in Math and the unnecessary steps, I teach you the easy way, the shortcut. I promise you, you will do amazing!

Qualifications:
Certified in Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED
Certified through the American Red Cross Babysitting Program and Water Safety.
Certified in Early Childhood Montessori Education.

I have volunteered in many community programs for tutoring purposes such as in summer camps. But I have 5 years paid experience as a private tutor.

About the lesson

I implement Montessori Education Approach.
But the most important thing that I do when I teach Mathematics is that I eliminate the unnecessary steps and I solve problems the easy way, the almost fun way.
There’s no way of failing in Math when you follow the correct steps, and I will teach you them.
