Hi! I’m a Biomedical Engineering graduate from the University of Waterloo, currently pursuing a Master’s at École Polytechnique. I have several years of experience tutoring math and science, with 10+ students ranging from younger students to university level. My approach as a tutor is centered on clarity, structure, and confidence-building. As a former engineering student at the University of Waterloo, I focus on helping students truly understand concepts rather than rely on memorization. I adapt my teaching style to each student’s learning pace and goals, ensuring lessons are both effective and encouraging.
A typical lesson begins with a brief review of prior material, followed by a clear explanation of new concepts using step-by-step problem solving. I incorporate guided practice, where we work through examples together, and independent practice, where students apply what they’ve learned with my support. Lessons conclude with a summary of key ideas and strategies students can use independently.
