About Anjona

I am a very well-rounded student and always have been. Marks were a priority as well as volunteer experiences, tutoring, and being an active participant in my community. Natural qualities instilled in me as an older sister include that of patience, encouragement, and strategic lesson plans.

About the lesson

A lesson plan includes looking at the student's strengths and weaknesses. Highlighting the student's smartest qualities to encourage and build confidence while focusing lessons on subjects that the student may struggle in is the main focus. What sets me apart is my patient yet focused quality to ensure students are supported to be the best student they can be and have the grades to show for that.

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Anjona as a math tutor for my daughter during her Grade 12 year, and she was fantastic! My daughter was struggling with math and on the verge of failing, but with Anjona's guidance, she was able to bring her grade up to a B+. Anjona was patient and thorough and had a great way of explaining challenging concepts in a way that made them easier to understand. She tailored her approach to my daughter's learning style and was always encouraging, which helped build her confidence. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a skilled and fantastic tutor!
