About Jason
I have toured and played nearly a thousand shows at this point if my math is right. I also have privately taught nearly a hundred students in my life. I love using jazz as a cornerstone because that's what I studied. However I have enough in my toolbox to help you become technically proficient while also helping to develop your ear!

I love working with beginners and intermediate drummers because they have the opportunity to become great players! My job is to mentor and facilitate learning in an efficient way. I think my playing can speak for itself. 3 decades of honing my playing will show that I can take you to the next level! Any student under me has to practice and be passionate because the teacher is only half the equation. The student must also put in hard work and I will be with them throughout that journey!

I'm happy to come to your place and teach! If you have a drum set available, that's even better. A drum pad and sticks is recommended for lessons.
Travel fee is only $20.
