About Benjamin

Over the course of the last five years, I have acquired a degree in environmental sustainability as well as a degree in Spanish, with my additional minor in mathematics. During this time, I have also completed two separate 300-hour AmeriCorps terms, working with children as a camp counselor and developing sustainable urban farm projects. I worked my way through college in restaurants, and even spent a year in Chile perfecting my Spanish, where I also worked in a sustainable soil lab. I have great experience in both the professional and academic world, and my understanding of both makes me well-versed in the realm of time management and organization. As a lifelong learner with a newfound love of teaching, I am excited to see how we can make math fun together!

About the lesson

I have spent the last three years learning multiple levels of calculus, statistics, and algebra, with a little bit of logic mixed in as well. I believe that the best way to learn is just to keep on practicing, so in our lessons we will focus intensely on repetition until continued success is achieved. I am a believer in positive reinforcement, and I hope to make practicing math an enjoyable experience for all. I am happy to help learners of any level up through high school, and I am excited to make math fun for you!
