For most of his school life my son always enjoyed Math. It came to him quite naturally and he enjoyed the process of working through a problem systematically to arrive at a logical answer. And then Year 12 hit and he started to struggle with the workload and lost his passion for Math. It reached the point where he was feeling like a failure, that he couldn't keep up with the subject matter and wanted to drop it. My son suffered a life altering accident when he was in Year 10 which took him from being an athletic, outdoorsy kid to where he is now Tetraplegic and uses a power wheelchair. We could not bear to see him have to give up another thing that he loved so we went looking for help and by God’s grace, we were put in touch with Kian. Kian invested the time to build a rapport with my son and he uncovered the main areas of concern and worked through them thoroughly to make sure my son fully understood any material before moving on. Kian structured their tutorials around assessments and life events so that my son was getting the help he needed when he needed it with minimal impact on his personal schedule and always being mindful of my sons ongoing medical treatments. Today, my son enjoys learning and looks forward to their tutorials and the challenges Kian has for him in their lessons. He is doing well academically, on route to finish his NECA Level 3s and is looking forward to going into university next year. Most importantly, my son still loves Math and never had to give it up.
