About FITRI FATIMAH
I am a composer with a passion for teaching, dedicated to helping students grow and succeed in music. With experience teaching at Sekolah Seni, I have guided vocal students to A+ results in their major assessments. I specialize in classical and modern singing by grade and music theory for ages 13–17, combining solid technique with creative expression to inspire confidence and excellence.

Techniques & Teaching Methodology
My teaching blends classical foundations with modern techniques, so students gain strong fundamentals while exploring their own musical style. In vocal lessons, I focus on breath control, vocal placement, tone quality, diction, and stage presence, adjusting methods according to each student’s vocal range and personality. I use a combination of demonstrations, targeted exercises, and repertoire work by grade level to ensure steady progress.
For music theory, I break complex concepts into simple, practical explanations, using examples that connect directly to the student’s instrument or vocal work.
Typical Length of a Lesson
Vocal sessions: 60 minutes (including warm-ups, technical drills, and repertoire practice).
Music theory: 45–60 minutes, depending on level and focus.
Qualifications & Experience
I gained hands-on teaching experience as a vocal teacher during my internship at Sekolah Seni, where my students achieved A+ results in their major instrument assessments. I have taught music theory to students aged 13–17, covering graded syllabi and preparing them for exams. My specialisation includes classical and modern singing, taught progressively by grade.
