About Melisha

My service stands out, because I am patient and I ensure that each student receives indivdual attention until they are comfortable with the subject matter at hand.

I enjoy the work, because there is never a dull moment. Every day, I learn something new and I help make improvements to the overall process in my current role.

I am not a teacher. I have tutored students in the past. And, I am a certified trainer in various topics corporately.

I am a highly intelligent individual with a technical background. I have four degrees: BS - Chemical Engineering, MBA - Production Management; MBA - Global Business Management; JD - Juris Doctorate in Contract Negotiations

About the lesson

My process is getting to know the student first and gaining their trust. This will lead to a more productive and comfortable environment for the student.

I have worked with elementary, middle, and high school students on STEM topics.

The advice I would give is look for the interest the teacher has in the topic. If the teacher is interested and committed to helping you learn, then, you know the teacher is vested in his/her job.

My most recent event I am fond of is being selected to sit on a board committee with the CEO of our company in the United Kingdom.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
The questions are as follows:

1. What is the average percentage you've helped students improve on their scores?

2. What are your most favorite subjects to teach?

3. What is your profession?

4. Why do you want to become a tutor?
