About Chase

I've been playing drums for 9 years, and have developed a strong passion for it, and am planning on applying to music school in the upcoming years. I have always loved teachers and kindling passions in others, the same way my teachers have done for me.

I have studied under teachers of all different styles and backgrounds, who came from many famous music schools (USC and Manhattan School of Music to name a few). I have studied at Berklee, learning from the incredible teachers there and collaborating with other like-minded musicians.

About the lesson

I use additive learning as I believe it helps students truly feel and grasp the music rather than just going through the motions. This involves starting slowly and building upon previous concepts, all the while developing freedom and technique. I also like to teach and accompany students through their favorite songs, showing them how what we are learning fits into the mustic that they are listening to.

In the past, I have worked with students who are in middle school and high school, but I am open to anything.
