About Harrison

Hi, I'm Harrison! I'm a passionate drummer who loves exploring rhythm, technique, and the creativity that makes playing music so rewarding. I specialize in rock and metal drumming, including technical styles that challenge coordination, precision, and rhythmic creativity.

I believe that every drummer can improve with the right guidance, consistent practice, and a clear understanding of the fundamentals. My goal is to create a supportive, encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and challenging themselves.

Whether you're just starting out or looking to take your playing to the next level, I'll help you develop your skills at your own pace and work toward goals that matter to you. Most importantly, I want you to enjoy the process and feel more confident behind the kit!

About the lesson

My approach to teaching drums is to help each student build a strong foundation while developing their own musical style. Lessons are tailored to your goals and experience, whether you're a complete beginner learning your first beats or an intermediate player looking to improve your technique.

We’ll work on essential skills like timing, coordination, groove, stick control, and reading rhythms, with practical exercises that help you apply what you learn to actual songs. A typical lesson might include a warm-up, focused technique practice, working through a challenging rhythm or beat, and applying those skills to music you enjoy.

For students interested in rock and metal, we can explore double bass drumming, speed and endurance, complex rhythms, odd time signatures, and technical playing. I believe the best way to improve is through consistent practice, clear goals, and learning music that genuinely excites you.

My goal is to make lessons engaging, supportive, and practical, helping you become a more confident drummer one step at a time. Lessons are ideal for beginners and intermediate players interested in building their skills in rock, metal, and beyond.
