About Jay
I am an Environmental Geoscience student at the University of Cardiff. I have been tutoring for over 5 years now in Maths, Science and Guitar helping students to bring back a love science and how things work. I took A levels in Biology, Chemistry and maths which allowed me to go on and do what I love now...science with a backpack and hardhat on! Leading and providing Science and Maths workshops as an Outdoor education assistant for both schools and home educators has given me an enthusiasm for working with all ages and abilities. I am very flexible and use to adapting to everyone's individual needs as learners.

When tutoring I take a very tailored approach in asking what you are aiming for and how we an get you there!
For GCSE students, by following your exam specifications or subject topics I can make sure to create concise and clear lessons that you will enjoy whilst covering every point.
Alternatively I can be there as a 'helpline' to help tackle any existing confusion and questions of your own surrounding a subject.
With access to past papers and exam questions you can guarantee that you will be well practised and confident in 'exam style' and what to expect.
For Key stage 3 and home educators if you are looking for more bespoke lessons please don't hesitate to get in touch as I have previously taught topic work covering everything from maps and navigation to the chemistry of Periodic table. I am very open and enthusiastic to ideas and topics that you may be covering so please let me know!
