About Ivaan
Hi, I’m Ivaan, a friendly and dedicated tutor who enjoys helping students improve their understanding in Math and Science. I aim to make lessons clear, engaging, and suited to each student’s individual learning style.
I focus on explaining concepts in a simple and structured way, breaking down difficult topics into smaller steps so they are easier to understand. I also use practice questions and interactive learning to help students build confidence and stay motivated.
I study advanced subjects and have a strong interest in problem-solving, technology, and logical thinking. This helps me explain ideas clearly and support students in developing their skills step by step.
I work with students in Years 4–8 and support a range of abilities, whether they need help catching up, strengthening their understanding, or building confidence in their learning.
I am patient, reliable, and committed to creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and improving at their own pace.

My lessons focus on Maths and Science, designed to help students understand concepts clearly, build confidence, and enjoy learning. I break topics down into simple, easy-to-follow steps, using examples, practice questions, and interactive activities to make lessons engaging and memorable.
Each lesson is 1 hour long, which is the perfect length to stay focused, learn effectively, and avoid feeling tired or overwhelmed. I adapt my teaching style to suit each student’s needs and pace, ensuring every lesson is productive and tailored to their learning goals.
I work with students in Years 4–8, helping them with homework, preparing for tests, or strengthening their understanding of core topics. My aim is not just to teach, but to inspire curiosity and confidence so students feel capable and motivated in Maths and Science.
Lessons are friendly, supportive, and structured — I make sure each student feels comfortable asking questions and exploring new ideas while improving their skills step by step.
