About Billy
I'm a qualified music teacher (QTS) with over 20 years of experience in education and performance. Throughout my career, I’ve clocked up thousands of hours on stage and in the studio across Europe, performing at prestigious venues, festivals, and recording studios. I’ve supported major artists including Madness, The Hoosiers, and Texas.
My work as an educator extends beyond the classroom—I've created a series of popular online drum courses with a global audience of over 30,000 learners who follow my content for guidance, inspiration, and motivation.
Alongside my specialism in drums, I also teach piano, guitar, music technology, and deliver BTEC Music courses in school. I’m fully DBS/CRB checked and a proud member of the Musicians’ Union, committed to high standards in music education and professional practice.

My teaching blends practical playing with essential theory, including how to read music and develop your technique, always with an emphasis on enjoyment and musicality.
I use warm-ups based on drum rudiments and follow a popular graded syllabus to ensure lessons are structured, progressive, and focused on songs you love. Learning stays fun, rewarding, and relevant.
I’m a Musicians' Union member and fully DBS/CRB checked, offering a safe and professional learning environment.
