About April
I am a college student at California Lutheran University majoring in Chemistry. I have an interest in mathematics and have taken multiple classes as electives both in college and high school.
I have worked at two separate summer camps and I love working with kids. I am patient and I look forward to getting to know my future students.

My lessons will include a brief explanation of the topic and I will demonstrate how to solve practice problems and explain why I am doing what I’m doing to solve it. I will then walk my student through the problem and encourage any questions. My goal for all of my students is for them to be able to explain the topic to me as proof of understanding. My job as a tutor is not done unless my student has reached an understanding that can allow them to explain the topic to others.
