About Elleana
Currently I am an undergraduate student studying biomedical sciences with an emphasis in pre-dental. This major is STEM based and requires a good academic standing to maintain this desired major. So far the STEM classes I have taken are general chemistry I, general chemistry II, biology I, biology II, pre-calculus, and calculus. In all of these classes I earned a A- or higher. I only received these grades due to my hard work and dedication to my academics. I have struggled in school before, but once I found what study methods worked for me I truly grew an appreciation for academics. I am choosing to become a tutor with the hope that I can instill this drive to perform well in school for other students who may be struggling just like I had.

Everyone learns in different ways! I want to help you find the method and/or methods that work best for you as an individual. A basic lesson plan would start with a conversation about what you are struggling to grasp. Once notes are reviewed, we would begin using different techniques such as flashcards, mnemic devices, practice problems, and repetition. These lessons are generally for first and second year students in college that are struggling in the stem classes.
