About Areie

With over 9 years of teaching experience, I am a committed Drum Tutor focused on college students. I help learners build strong rhythm skills, technical accuracy, and confidence through clear instruction. My teaching style is flexible and supportive. I adapt lessons to match each student’s learning pace while maintaining a strong focus on fundamentals like timing, coordination, and posture. I use innovative learning methods such as structured practice plans, tempo control training, and song-based learning.

These techniques help students apply skills practically. Creativity is encouraged through improvisation, fill creation, and rhythm variation. I also guide students to analyze rhythms and improve musical understanding. As a mentor, I support students with patience and accountability. I track progress, give constructive feedback, and motivate students to stay consistent. My lessons help college students enjoy learning and grow with confidence.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology for drums focuses on balance between creativity, understanding, and responsibility. I help students develop strong rhythm skills while enjoying the learning process.

I start with core skills such as timing, coordination, control, and technique. I encourage students to think critically about rhythm patterns and how they support a song.

Creativity is encouraged through beat creation, rhythm challenges, and guided improvisation. I use simple explanations and real music examples to make lessons effective and enjoyable.

As a mentor, I support students with motivation and clear guidance. Accountability is maintained through structured practice plans, regular feedback, and progress tracking.

Along with drum lessons, I also teach supporting subjects like basic music theory, rhythm counting, tempo control, and practice planning. This helps students grow as confident and independent musicians.
