About Tosin
I have been giving lessons for a little over 4 years now. I had the experience of tutoring 7th and 8th graders as part of an after-school program while I was in Nigeria for about 2years. I also tutored my younger brother through high school when he struggled with math. Most of the students I tutor move on to graduate high school and go to college.

I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. My characteristics as a teacher include patience, follow-through, and resilience. I make sure that I do not leave any stone unturned when it comes to teaching my students. I have the most experience teaching 7th and 8th graders and have taught one high school student so far; therefore I can also teach high school students. My teaching style is that I am a demonstrator which means I show how to solve problems, but I am also a facilitator in that I interact with my students and let them attempt questions. However, I keep open lines of communication so students can ask questions while I guide them to solve problems independently. I have found that this really builds my students competence.
