About Isabelle

Teaching is an amazing way to develop your own playing as well as aiding others to grow as a musician. My past tutors have inspired me to pass on my love for music especially in the woodwind family. I love playing and find being able to pass this love onto other people very fulfilling.

About the lesson

Focusing on techniques that can be applied to all pieces of music as well as more development of instrumental technique, teaching is positive and constructive. Students can pick their own pieces to learn but I will also provide recommendations. Typical lesson between 30 minutes to an hour depending on the student and level of playing.
I studied at Chetham's School of Music from 2022-2026 during which time I received grade 8 distinctions in clarinet and saxophone. I have performed with the Hallé Orchestra and BBC Philharmonic in venues such as the Bridgewater Hall and the Stoller Hall. Experienced in both Jazz and Classical performance.
I am more experienced teaching younger children up to year 12 however have had a couple older students and would feel comfortable teaching anyone of any age and instrumental standard.
