As a former educator and current tutor, I like to prioritize clear, structured lessons rooted in evidence-based teaching methods. During sessions, I aim to offer a calm, respectful learning environment (in person or online) where students feel safe to ask questions and make mistakes. Finally, I encourage consistent communication with families, ensuring progress and accountability.

About the lesson

With a B.S. in Chemistry from Howard University and an M.S. in Biomedical Sciences from Wake Forest University, I bring a strong academic foundation and a deep understanding of the sciences. But more importantly, I bring over 10 years of experience tutoring and teaching students from grades K–10, helping them build confidence, master challenging concepts, and achieve their academic goals.

I've worked with students from diverse backgrounds and learning styles—both in the U.S. and abroad—so I understand how to adapt lessons to meet individual needs. Whether your child is struggling with math, science, reading, or just needs help staying organized, I offer patient, encouraging, and effective support tailored to each learner.
