About Maddison

Before commencing my Bachelor of Education (Primary and Secondary) at the Australian Catholic University in 2023, I was enrolled at the Australian National University in which I completed 2 years of a Bachelor of Biotechnology. At the end of 2022 I made the decision to transfer degrees because I knew my heart was in teaching and a career in research wasn’t going to leave me feeling fulfilled. With a background in mathematics and science I know the difference a good teacher can have on a student's learning and confidence levels. I love teaching because that moment when a difficult concept finally clicks for a student is so unbelievably rewarding.

About the lesson

With 2 years of tutoring experience in both primary and secondary mathematics, and 2 extremely successful professional placements through a bachelor of education primary and secondary specialising in mathematics, I am more than ready to help your student reach their full potential. I take a student-based approach to teaching and I strive to build confidence and knowledge learners in mathematics, biology, chemistry and years 7-10 science.
