About Belva

Teaching singing began as a casual side project before it quietly consumed my entire schedule. It turns out that some people learn at lightning speeds while others truly require the scenic route to reach their destination. My focus remains on ensuring that you find the entire process significantly less intimidating than you currently do.

I hold an MM in Vocal Pedagogy from Westminster Choir College and work with a wide range of students. It really just comes down to the voice.

About the lesson

You should find your own rhythm by connecting breath to movement rather than forcing notes from your throat. My pedagogy background informs how I address vocal health and care alongside range extension or pitch control for your specific voice.

We will examine rhythm and phrasing while refining your performance confidence and microphone technique. I provide 9.0 out of 10 ratings on clarity for warm up exercises and harmony singing. You gain free access to my breathing and warm up exercise notes for home practice.

Preparation for exams or private sets is handled with surgical precision. Making music should feel like breathing.
