About Weston
I have given lessons to beginners in the past. One student knew how to play a song using mostly power chords. However, their technique needed a little work. Unwanted strings were still ringing out, so I taught him a method of muting the unwanted strings while still striking the notes he wanted, by visualization. Unwanted strings ringing out is a fairly common situation, especially for beginners. I will help you overcome these types of problems with various creative teaching techniques.

My goal is based on what you want to learn or improve on. I will base my lessons around what YOU want.
If you're a beginner I'd like you to have fun at first; learning songs that you want to learn within your capability so there's little to no frustration.
If you're more intermediate or advanced I'd be happy to share my knowledge of advanced jazz and classical theory. As well as how I go about technique. Composing, arranging, fretboard concepts, voice leading, knowing when to play and when not to play, etc.

I can't work at my home as I am a newly grad living with my parents.
Travel costs more $ due to time and gas. (10 miles=40-50mins round trip)
