About Bhaveesha
I have completed AS levels with very good results in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics and am a very motivated student at high school who is about to start his 13th year. After going through these difficulties myself as a student, I know exactly where students may get stuck and why it's crucial to establish understanding instead of memorizing dates and facts.
I want to teach because I like to help others grasp complex ideas in an understandable and meaningful manner. I think each and every student can achieve success if they are taught properly with patience, clarity and encouragement. My objective will not only be to enhance academic writing skills of my students but also to foster confidence and confidence in academic writing.
I take my duty, consistency and dedication seriously when it comes to teaching. I give all lessons a serious approach and make sure that every student is supported, at ease and comfortable, and that everybody can ask questions freely. I can do everything I can to ensure that younger students (between year 3 and year 8) improve their skills in Math and Science in a way that they feel clear, structured and motivating.

My priority is not memorisation, but rather helping to understand the concepts. With AS Levels I have completed, I have a deep understanding of Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics and know the standards of learning for the British curriculum in Year 13.
I usually teach my lessons for 1 hour. The first 30 minutes is spent providing the student with an explanation and breaking down the topic into a simple and well structured manner, so that the student has full understanding of the concepts. The remaining 30 minutes are dedicated to practice questions, problem-solving and applying the knowledge.
I also have some free online quizzes, worksheets, and ‘topper tips' for additional practice and revision work out of the lesson which can be used to further support learning. My aim is to help students to grow in confidence, to be better problem solvers, and to do better in exams.
My lessons are tailored to teach pupils in Year 3 to Year 8 to lay a good academic foundation in Maths and Science at an affordable and student friendly pace.
