About Greeshma

I am a 4th year medical student at the University of Auckland. I am passionate about medicine and education. I believe that effective education is necessary for academic progress, as in my own experience, having solid mentors allowed me to achieve my goals. I am skilled in study techniques, and am a committed tutor to my students. I am able to draw up effective study plans, explain concepts thoroughly and with patience, as well as holding my students accountable so they can improve their grades. Most of all, I believe high school is an important time to build good foundational study skills to carry through into higher education, which I can definitely help with.

About the lesson

Kia ora,

I have been a tutor for a few years, and I constantly evolve my teaching techniques and methodology depending on the needs of my students. I believe in setting clear goals, providing study techniques and creating a calendar to make the goals come true. The typical length of a session will be 1-2 hours. I can teach year 9-year 13 students who study NCEA. I have tutored privately for both NCEA level 2 and level 3 in the past. As a medical student, I have trialed many different study techniques and I believe my commitment to my students and my advice can go a long way.
