About Chetna

I am a mathematics educator, have done masters in mathematics. Teaching is my passion and I am trying dedicatedly to vanish this phobia of Mathematics among students. Gone were the days when I was at my school, complaining teachers and parents that maths is really difficult. I came so far being an average student to a topper of college. Just following the passion to teach and learn from different students of different countries. I can never ever afford stop learning, I think that's the biggest reason I'm here. I've tutored almost 15,000 students from 13+ countries.

About the lesson

What's the format of class?

1. Concept check: 1st and foremost thing is that student must know what he is doing. This 'why and what' will be cleared with easiest way i can and theory will be cleared in a smooth way.

2. Topic wise questions: In each chapter there are different topics. Questions will be provided after every topic in the class itself to check whether student has understood the topic or not(Hence, no backlogs).

3. Chapter wise questions: After each chapter is completed, a question session will be held.

4. Doubt sessions: Of course there will be doubt solving classes as per the need of the student.

NOTE: Students preparing for competitive exams will be getting previous year question sessions also.

Mathematics has always fascinated me because it is both logical and creative. From solving puzzles as a child to preparing for competitive exams like CSIR-NET and GATE, I found myself drawn deeper into the beauty of patterns, proofs, and problem-solving. Over time, my curiosity turned into passion, and teaching maths became a way for me to share this excitement with others.
What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?
I was inspired by my own teachers, who showed me that maths is not just about numbers but about thinking critically and approaching life’s challenges logically. Their guidance motivated me to become a teacher so that I can help students overcome their fear of maths and discover its simplicity and usefulness.
How does your work help society?
Mathematics is the foundation of science, technology, and problem-solving in everyday life. By teaching, I help students build confidence, logical thinking, and analytical skills that they can carry into any career. My work not only improves academic performance but also empowers students to become independent thinkers and future innovators.
If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?
I look up to Srinivasa Ramanujan for his incredible ability to see mathematics in the simplest and most creative ways, despite limited resources. He inspires me to believe that passion and perseverance can overcome any challenge, and that teaching should encourage curiosity and originality.
Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading about new developments in mathematics and science, exploring puzzles, and solving logical games. I also like writing and creating engaging teaching material that makes maths fun and relatable for students. Apart from academics, I enjoy music and spending time with friends and family.
Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?
Once, a student of mine who was very weak in maths used to avoid even basic problems. Instead of pushing formulas, I introduced concepts with simple daily-life examples and small games. Within a few months, not only did the student improve drastically, but they also started helping their classmates. That moment reminded me why I love teaching—it’s not just about marks, but about transforming a student’s attitude toward learning.
