About Heather
From an early age, I was immersed in music. My family was very musical and my earliest memories are of attending professional rehearsals with my parents. As a young musician, I enjoyed singing and playing piano. Teaching music is my gift and calling. Many of my students have gone on to win local, state, and national music competitions in voice, piano, and music composition. One of my favorite things is seeing students progress and meet their personal goals.

I create lessons that align with student/family goals. I have taught students age 3-70 from beginner to late intermediate. Lessons are about growth and meeting each student's goals. I want all of my students to enjoy not only their time in lessons, but also making music outside of lessons. I have a master's in music education and have been teaching for 20+ years privately and in the classroom. I started teaching online 10 years ago so I am very comfortable teaching in that setting.
