About AJ
I am 19 years old and am studying engineering at the University of Virginia. I graduated from high school in Australia and moved back to America for college, but the IB Diploma Program has cultivated a thorough understanding in mathematics and physics that is internationally applicable. I am passionate about these subjects and dedicated to the learning of my students.

My method is pretty simple. The best way to learn mathematics and physics is repetition. In my typical lesson plan: the student will provide a worksheet/assignment/test that they struggled with and we will work through problems with thorough explanations. After a couple of lessons, I typically develop a practice sheet on the areas that they were struggling with (the best way to learn something is consistent, repetitive practice). I also understand the innate difficulty in mathematics and physics, so I like to slow the pace of my classes in order to ensure the student fully understands the topic. I received the top mark (7) for Mathematics Analysis & Approaches Higher Level and Physics Standard Level in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program, so my understanding of the subjects is well-suited for middle school to high school difficulty.

AJ is a trustworthy and knowledgeabls tutor. He is able to turn complex mathematical complex into simple explanations for a student to understand. He also walks through math very logically and shows you and explains every step of the problem so you're never confused. Would definitely recommend AJ!!
