About Claire

Hi! I'm a university student based in Toronto with a strong passion for STEM and helping students build confidence in their learning. Over the past 4+ years I have tutored students of different ages and learning styles.
I believe that every student can succeed with the right guidance and encouragement I strive to help students develop problem-solving skills, confidence, and a strong understanding of the material. Whether your child needs help catching up, staying ahead, or preparing for tests, I provide patient, personalized instruction at a pace that works best for them, by taking challenging concepts and breaking them down into easy to understand topics and creating a positive learning environment. I look forward to helping each student reach their full potential.

About the lesson

My English lessons are tailored to each student's individual learning needs, helping them develop strong reading, writing, speaking, and communication skills in a supportive and engaging environment. Whether your child needs extra help with schoolwork, wants to improve their confidence, or is looking to get ahead, I create personalized lessons that make learning enjoyable and effective.
I work with students from Kindergarten to Grade 10, covering reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, spelling, writing, essay structure, creative writing, and oral communication. Lessons are designed to strengthen both foundational skills and critical thinking through interactive activities, guided practice, and constructive feedback.
My goal is to help students become confident, independent learners who can express themselves clearly and effectively. I focus on building strong literacy skills while encouraging curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning. I also provide homework support, assignment assistance, and test preparation to help students succeed both inside and outside the classroom.
Whether your child is building foundational literacy skills or preparing for more advanced English coursework, I am committed to helping them reach their full potential.
