Super Tutor

Jixin is one of our best Maths tutors. High-quality profile, qualifications verified, organised and responsive to lesson requests, and appreciated by their students.

About Jixin

I am a university lecturer in the UK with over 15 years' experience in teaching maths and chemistry. I have also been heavily involved in outreach activities and interacted with school students (at both GCSE and A-level) through seminars and workshops. I am very keen to tutor these students to pass my knowledge and passion in science to them. I also hope to share my extensive experience in research with university students at both UG and PG levels.

About the lesson

My lessons are for GCSE level maths and physics and GCSE/A-level chemistry. I can also teach university students in research method and academic writing. My lesson is one hour long and fully interactive. I have over 15 years' experience in teaching at university level and have tutored school students before. My qualifications include chartered chemist and chartered science teacher awarded by Royal Society of Chemistry (UK).

Perfect! Jixin has been a great find for my sons Maths. At first a little reticent at even having a tutor my son has found Jixins approach great. He has explained things in a way it will hopefully benefit him as he leads into his final year of GCSE. Thanks very much so far Jixin. I would recommend.

It has been my great pleasure to teach Xander who is polite and highly cooperative. Xander is a very bright student and has great potential to do maths well. He only needs to consolidate all the knowledges learned through more exercise questions.

Perfect! My daughter was very nervous to start having a tutor for her GCSEs however jixin was very patient with her and always made her feel comfortable to ask questions . She went into her exams with confidence that she would do well which I don’t believe would have been the case without the tutoring .she enjoyed each session thank you for all your help with Erin

Jixin has been tutoring my GCSE maths for one year. He is highly professional, patient and responsible, always willing to go the extra mile to support the student. He could explain the strategy for working out tricky maths questions clearly. He has great passion in maths himself and I really enjoy his Youtube channel on maths challenges. I would like to recommend Jixin to all other potential students.

Jixin tutored me in maths and is the best maths tutor I have had. He is a university lecturer which is helpful for students who are studying at university level who are struggling to meet the grades they desire. Jixin explains concepts very well and as I am dyslexic, he planned sessions with me accordingly. If anyone wants a tutor I recommend Jixin!
