About Toly
I am a senior at the George Washington University in Washington, DC majoring in economics with a minor in statistics. I have tutored several other students before both in high school and in college. I helped these students in math subjects ranging from basic algebra to calculus, and I am happy to say they have all succeeded in later math classes.

When I teach, I know that each person digests concepts in different ways. Retention of material is highest, then, when the teaching style caters to how the student thinks. The best way of doing this is by trying to explain the concept in many different ways until one of the explanations make sense. From there, it is much easier to teach later concepts because I know what works with the student and what doesn't.
