About Mani

Hey! I’m a first-gen immigrant who moved to Canada in grade 3, and ever since then, academics have been a big part of my life - mainly because almost everyone in my family is a doctor (talk about high expectations, right?). Now, I’m in my second year of Honors Life Sciences at McMaster University, working towards a future in medicine. I get what it’s like to juggle school, family expectations, and personal goals. That’s why I try to keep things light when I teach - no stress, just focused learning. Whether you’re struggling with a topic or want to level up your understanding, I’m here to help you feel more confident and ready to tackle anything that comes your way.

About the lesson

I actually get what it’s like to struggle with tricky concepts - because I’ve been there too. My goal? To make learning easier, less stressful, and maybe even (dare I say it?) fun.

How I Teach:
. I try to break things down in a way that actually makes sense - no overcomplicated jargon, just clear and simple explanations.
. I focus on understanding rather than memorization, so you can tackle any problem with confidence.
. We’ll practice together, work through real examples, and I’ll help you find study strategies that work for you.

What a Lesson Looks Like:
Quick Check-In – Got questions? We’ll go over anything you need help with.
Breaking It Down – I’ll explain new topics step by step, using real-world examples when possible.
Practice Makes Progress – We’ll work through problems together, and I’ll give you tips to make them easier.
Independent Try – You’ll test your skills with my guidance.
Wrap-Up & Next Steps – A quick review + plan for what’s next!

Why work with me?
I try to keep things straightforward and stress-free - you learn at your own pace.
I’ve worked with a lot of students, so I know how to explain things in a way that actually helps.
The goal isn’t just better grades, but actually understanding the material so you feel more confident.

Who’s This For?
High school students (Grades 9-12)
Anyone who needs help in Math (Algebra, Calculus, Functions) or Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)
Whether you’re struggling, prepping for a big test, or just want to stay ahead, I’ve got you covered.

If this sounds like what you need, let’s chat!
