About Sydney

I am a rising junior in college, majoring in chemistry and forensic science, and I have a strong passion for learning and teaching. I have had the privilege of tutoring elementary students before in subjects such as mathematics, English, and Spanish, and it is a goal of mine to become a professor someday. It is my current goal to help high school and college students feel more comfortable with their abilities in math and science in any way that I can, because I understand that those are often challenging subjects for many students this age.

About the lesson

- patient, student-based teaching method specialized to each student and the lessons they feel they would like to work on
- beginning with an explanation of the topic, many example problems will be done with the student that can be applied to later homework and test questions on the topic
- lessons can be designed for upper-level high schoolers, all the way through first- and second-year college students
- mainly focusing on subjects such as AP chemistry, general chemistry, organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, pre-calculus, calculus 1, and AP or intro level college biology as well
