About Latonya
I am a graduate of East Carolina University with a B.S. in University Studies with a Public Health focus which gives me knowledge in several subjects including algebra, chemistry, biology, anatomy, etc. I also have 1 year of tutoring experience.

I am the type of tutor that will always put the student's needs first. I am more geared toward students who need help in Math and Science Grades 3-8, 9,11-12. My lesson structure will address the student's needs based on their learning styles and preferences. For example, teaching a student multiplication some students may prefer to use flashcards while others prefer to draw out the problem and use a more hands-on approach it all starts by trying different methods to figure out what works best for each student. My philosophy is that learning is a journey and I want to share my knowledge and take this journey with each student.
