About Abdalhak
I am Abdalhak. An A-level Maths Physics and Psychology student.
Who achieved 8 A* in their June 2024 exams, obviously an A* in physics and maths.
I plan to, in the future, study Engineering at university, so you can imagine the emphasis of physical application I will need beforehand that I also pass on to my students.
I am incredibly passionate about Maths and Physics and I try to involve that with my teaching just like my favourite professor, Walter Lewin who made everyone in his class love physics after the first lesson.
Maybe not the first, but I hope by the end you will love physics and maths just as much as I do.
I am not just a teacher, I’m a student, so I won’t only want to help academically, but making sure I can help in any other way possible is a massive thing for me, I want to act like a mentor as well as a tutor.
It’s why I do it, I love teaching, I love maths and physics and I love helping others love it

Maths is a procedural memory. It’s long-term it can become innate, it’s like riding a bike, you don’t forget how to add after doing it once.
However, as you go further into maths you just need to practice it more and more for it to stick.
Practice and understanding are what my lessons are based on.
I will introduce a new topic, I’ll explain what it is and how it works.
Show some examples of it in action, for example equations of a circle, what happens when we change the x or y bracket.
Then allow you room to practice it and see what you may not understand, if there is anything you don’t.
Then once we solidified your understanding, just a whole ton of practice and. making sure it sticks.
It’s what I did, it’s what works, it’s what always will work.
Of course, if a certain topic requires different approaches I will have planned it so.
(Note- It isn’t an option on the platform, but I CAN teach in arabic if needed.)
