I am currently a dental student at Barts and The London after completing my A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Economics. In my A-Levels I achieved 2 A*'s and 2 A's and in my GCSEs I achieved 3 grade 9's, 5 A*'s and 3 A's. The grade 9's were in Maths, English literature and English Language and my A*'s at A-Level were in Maths and Chemistry.
I have been privately tutoring for 2 years since I completed my GCSEs for English and Maths. Since completing my A-Levels I have been tutoring A-Level Maths and Chemistry one-to-one. I have also taught at a tuition centre to groups of 4-5 students in GCSE Maths, English and Science.
I am very good at explaining concepts that may be hard to grasp at first. Having recently completed both A-Levels and GCSEs, the information and struggles from both are still fresh in my mind and I feel this means I am able to fully understand what it feels to be like in the student's position. Not only am I good at explaining concepts but I enjoy speaking to students and am able to offer advice when it comes to applying to university or choosing A-Level subjects. I am a patient and friendly person so students feel comfortable enough with me to ask questions and open up about any other struggles they may face.
I am confident in teaching GCSE maths, english literature, english language and science, as well as A-Level Chemistry and Maths.
