About Andrea

Hi, I'm Andrea, English language teacher with TEFL.org (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certificate from the UK's most accredited TEFL course provider with recognized qualifications around the world.
I am a loyal and caring person who loves to make a difference in the lives of children and adults. I am open-minded, patient and supportive of other people, especially those with disabilities. In previous roles as a primary and secondary school teacher, I have taught over 100 pupils from all backgrounds, successfully preparing them for the next stages of their young life.
Additionally, in my roles as an IT trainer and crafting workshop leader, I have had the opportunity to help dozens of adult professionals move forward with their careers.

About the lesson

I prepare and lead lectures based on the Student Centered Approach delivering learner-centered lessons that allow students to actively participate in their learning. This means that students are encouraged to participate in a variety of activities including speaking, listening, writing, and more.
It is widely believed that student-centered methods are far better than direct teacher-centered instruction. It helps short-term language proficiency, depth of understanding and long-term retention as it encourages students not only to produce the language but to understand how and why they are able to do so.
After a short introduction in Italian, I will then carry out each lesson with the exclusive use of the English language in order to promote active learning and positive iteration.

Perfect! Andrea è un insegnante eccezionale. Partivo con un livello B2 ma con difficoltà nell'avere nel parlato un inglese fluente e con un percorso personalizzato per la mia situazione sto notevolmente migliorando, Andrea è stato in grado infatti di capire subito i lati dov'ero più debole e colmare le mie lacune. Inoltre è sempre flessibile con orari e date, mi sto trovando veramente bene. Non esiterò a continuare il percorso di lezioni con lui!

Davvero un ottimo insegnante. Ho conosciuto Andrea dopo un colloquio di lavoro in inglese andato male (ho un B2 ma non un inglese fluente nel parlato) e ha saputo subito come strutturare un percorso di lezioni adatto alla mia situazione per migliorare i lati dove sono più debole e colmare le lacune. Tanti anni che sono superprof e mi sento davvero di consigliarlo a chiunque avesse bisogno di lezioni di inglese e un percorso specifico, inoltre è sempre flessibile con orari e date, sicuramente un fattore da non trascure.
